Senior Network Administrator
We are seeking a Senior Network Administrator with experience in VLAN / VLAN segmentation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, with a focus on administration and engineering in a multi-location environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- 80% administration tasks including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- 20% engineering tasks to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Monitoring systems using SolarWinds and Azure for performance and security.
- Work as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively with the team.
- Willingness to adapt and take on new tasks as needed.
- Experience with Dell and Cisco infrastructure, with a major focus on Cisco devices.
- Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls and Meraki switches.
- Manage port adjustments and VLAN segmentation across three different locations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in system administration and engineering roles.
- Familiarity with SolarWinds, Azure, Dell, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Meraki technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
