Outpatient Physical Therapist AssistantManville, New JerseySalary Range: $70,000–$80,000/year, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Patient Volume: Approximately 1–2 patients each hour Position: Full-Time PTAThe RoleWe're looking for an experienced outpatient PTA who enjoys spending most of the workday directly with patients.The Physical Therapist will establish the treatment plan. Your role is to put that plan into action by guiding exercises, working on specific physical limitations, watching how patients respond, and communicating useful updates back to the PT.The work is practical and varied. Some patients may be early in recovery, while others may be preparing to return to work, exercise, or normal daily activity.Your ResponsibilitiesFollow established physical therapy plans of careWork one-on-one with patients during scheduled treatment visitsProvide therapeutic exercise and movement-based activitiesHelp improve strength, range of motion, stability, and enduranceObserve changes in patient performance from visit to visitNotify the Physical Therapist of concerns or meaningful progressEducate patients on proper exercise performanceReinforce assigned home exercise programsKeep treatment documentation current and completeSupport safe use of rehabilitation equipment
