Description Assess patients of various age groups, employing standardized tests and keen observational methods. Create tailored therapy plans focused on immediate objectives as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Engage in individualized speech therapy, enhancing language, fluency, vocal quality, and swallowing skills. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop unified care approaches. Provide educational resources to patients and families to support their journey outside the clinical environment. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapies to provide seamless care throughout the treatment trajectory. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Stay abreast of industry advancements through ongoing education and professional networking. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) prior to obtaining ASHA certification, if applicable. Certifications Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
