Travel Nurse - Operating Room (Gynecology and Genitourinary Focus)

Location: Portland, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including 1:4 weekends.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel Nurse specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at a Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional surgical nursing skills and provide outstanding patient care while thriving in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in Gynecological and Genitourinary surgical procedures, including robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies.
• Provide care for a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including one overnight call for Trauma, with additional call scheduled as per specialty team rules.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of Level 1 trauma experience.
• RN license required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Neuro, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Endovascular specialties is advantageous.
