Job Title: Quality Specialist Location: Brookings, SD Job Type: Contract Length: 12-Months Hours: 40 hours/wk, 8 hours/day Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.50 per hour Responsibilities: Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker to assume responsibility for initiating and performing defined technical activities for nonconforming product investigations or for improving compliance. Usually reports to a supervisor or senior technical individual. Duties and responsibilities may include initiating and completing technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes which have significant impact potential at a program level. Establish and cultivate a network of support (laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, operations and quality) to facilitate completion of assignments. Participates in root cause analysis, and documents experimental data/observations in appropriate systems, prepares reports, and makes oral presentations.
