Responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and/or promote a healthier life.License/Certification/Registration required:*Board BE/BC in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics.*Completion of an ACGME Accredited Fellowship program, per subspecialty requirements.*Board BE/BC in subspecialty, if applicable. Ability to be successfully credentialed by both Hospital and 3rd Party Payers.Education required:*Must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from another country with a current Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:*Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children.*Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.*Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.*In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.*Excellent oral and written communication skills.*Respect for patient's confidentiality.*Compassionate and approachable.*Responsible and trustworthy.
