Job Description Our client is currently seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join their Corporate Finance & Accounting Department. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and assisting with the development of the company\'s financial consolidation system, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition (FDMEE), and legacy applications. Your strong Excel skills, experience in systems implementation or upgrades, and accounting background will be critical for success. As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the upcoming HFM upgrade, ensure effective system operations and maintenance, and provide training to users. Reporting to the Supervisor of Financial Systems, you will play a key role in driving the financial reporting and analysis processes. Primary Responsibilities Perform maintenance of application metadata, reports, and data interface mappings for data loads and consolidations. Develop and maintain application security. Support and maintain the legacy application used for financial data submission from approximately 800 businesses. Manage and monitor data integrity, identifying and resolving issues related to the company\'s financial applications. Update financial reports to accommodate changing business needs. Interface with the user community to address training needs and troubleshoot user issues. Collaborate with internal partners to understand business requirements and develop effective solutions. Create and modify detailed processes and procedures around financial systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, forecasting, and the annual financial plan cycle. Utilize your knowledge of financial systems and business processes to recommend efficiency and quality assurance improvements. Participate in SOX compliance audits related to the company\'s financial applications. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Information Technology. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with financial systems in a large corporate financial reporting department, such as HFM, OneStream, Anaplan, Tagetik, ERP applications, SQL databases, and SQL query language. Strong understanding of financial processes, including accounting close, consolidations, reporting, planning, and forecasting. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures. Strong analytical and communication skills to problem-solve and implement solutions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
