Job Overview Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as the Breadbasket Manager. The Breadbasket Manager supports all aspects of our restaurant‑style dining experience called the “Bread Basket,” including ordering, meal preparation, presentation, and the meal service experience. Starting at $25 per hour. Full‑suite benefits vary by employment status and are available daily. Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for voluntary life and voluntary short‑term disability. Responsibilities Occasional mandatory travel required for training and development purposes. Order food following Bickford’s process in a timely, cost‑effective manner. Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, weekly menus). Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations. Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated. Ensure Bickford’s process is followed during meal service. Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience. Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide. Utilize residents’ Meal Order Information form to track all resident physician‑ordered diets, allergies, and preferences. Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies. Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies. Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule. Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness. Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to provide appropriate food/refreshments for tours and events. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; one‑year related experience. Willingness to take additional training or education required by specific states. ServSafe, CPR, and First Aid certifications required. A valid driver’s license and a driving record consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines.
