Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for an exciting opportunity in New Orleans, LA . Position Overview
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) , you will provide clinical leadership, conduct behavioral assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, supervise ABA staff, and support children in achieving meaningful progress through evidence-based behavioral intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and support ABA Therapists and Interventionists
Conduct behavioral assessments and functional analyses
Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
Analyze data and adjust programming using evidence-based ABA practices
Provide caregiver training and family support
Collaborate with staff, families, and fellow BCBAs
Support staff development and program growth initiatives
Work Environment
School-based setting serving young children
Focus on improving functional communication, adaptive behaviors, and social skills
Collaborative clinical team with ongoing support
Average caseload of 10-12 students
Qualifications
Required
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through BACB
Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Teaching, or a related field
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred
Experience working with young children with autism and developmental disabilities
Experience developing and implementing ABA programs and behavior intervention plans
Additional Requirements
Current CPR Certification (if applicable)
TB Screening, PPD, or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
Current Health Certificate (per contract or state requirements)
