Data Scientist

Role Description

As we accelerate on our mission to upgrade the world to a better financial system, we will need to understand how customers are using our product and what drives customers to engage in our platforms. You’ll be focused on this critical step of creating better information from multiple data sources to guide our decision making and help us build better products and improve our processes.

• Design and build pricing models and evaluation frameworks to guide and optimise pricing strategies
• Develop causal models using experiments and observational data to isolate and measure the impact of fee changes
• Initiate, design, and maintain high-quality data pipelines and models with strong attention to detail
• Synthesise findings into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate them effectively to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in the natural sciences or technical fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics
• Exploratory data analysis, predictive analytics, and/or optimisation skills using Python or other data science-oriented platforms
• Advanced SQL skills
• 3 years + experience in pricing experimentation, data analysis and statistical modeling
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data and analysis to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, as well as within and across teams
• Ability to successfully complete projects with large and/or incomplete data sets
• Enthusiasm to work in the crypto industry

Requirements

• 3 years' + experience working in a similar role
• Proven track record of analysing customer behaviour and translating insights into revenue growth
• Experience working with business intelligence platform such as Tableau, Cognos, QlikView, or Looker
• Solid knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques
• Experience with producing ML applications using a formalised ML Operations architecture
• Experience or interest working in crypto or fintech industries
