Attic Fanatics, a fast‐growing home‐services company in South Florida, is hiring a Director of Operations / Senior Operations Manager to take ownership of daily operations and help scale the business. This is a high‐impact leadership role for someone who has already managed teams, improved execution, and built accountability across office and field operations.

 

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‐on operations leader who can run the daily operating rhythm of the business, manage office staff and field crews, improve scheduling and job flow, and ensure customer issues are handled quickly and professionally. You’ll help move the company from owner‐driven operations to a structured, manager‐run environment that can scale.

 

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations Leadership

• Own the daily operating rhythm of the company
• Ensure jobs are ready, staffed, and communicated clearly
• Catch operational issues before they become customer problems
• Keep teams moving without constant owner involvement

Team Management

• Lead office/admin staff, scheduling, field crews, and coordinators
• Set expectations, coach performance, and hold people accountable
• Build simple systems the team can follow consistently
• Scheduling & Production Flow
• Manage the full flow from sold job → completed job
• Confirm deposits, financing, materials, crew capacity, and job readiness
• Prevent missed jobs, double‐booking, poor routing, and callbacks
• Track multi‐day jobs, repairs, invoicing, and payment follow‐up

Office‐to‐Field Communication

• Align office, sales, inspectors, field crews, and operations
• Reduce Slack confusion and back‐and‐forth
• Ensure job scope, notes, photos, and expectations are clear before work begins

Customer Issue Management

• Own escalations: late crews, missed appointments, incomplete work, callbacks, repairs
• Assign ownership and ensure follow‐through
• Protect customer experience while maintaining team accountability

Systems, SOPs & Reporting

• Build and enforce SOPs
• Improve handoffs between sales, office, and production
• Ensure systems (GHL, Slack, Notion, Sheets) match real workflow
• Track operational KPIs and use reporting to improve performance

Required Experience

• Managed a team of 15–20+ people
• Background in home services, construction, HVAC, roofing, insulation, restoration, pest control, plumbing, electrical, or similar field‐service industries
• Experience managing both office/admin flow and field/production execution
• Strong scheduling, dispatch, production, or service operations experience
• Proven ability to hold people accountable
• Experience building or enforcing SOPs
• Comfortable in a fast‐moving, owner‐led environment
• Tech‐comfortable (Slack, GHL, Notion, Sheets, etc.)
