Duties and Responsibilities: Defend physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers in medical malpractice and related healthcare litigation. Manage cases from initial investigation through discovery, depositions, expert coordination, motion practice, and trial. Prepare for and participate in mediations, court hearings, and trial proceedings. Collaborate closely with clients, claims professionals, and partners to develop effective defense strategies. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with increasing autonomy. Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates): JD and active FL bar. 3–8 years of medical malpractice defense or complex healthcare litigation experience. Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills with a genuine interest in trial work.
