Quality Inspector

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our client's manufacturing team in Milford, CT!This is a direct hire position with a successful aerospace company that offers great benefits.Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.1st shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm plus overtime Pay rate $20-28 per hourResponsibilitiesPerform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established quality standards and specifications.Use measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions and compliance with requirements.Document inspection results, including identifying and recording nonconformances and defects.Ensure all materials and products meet quality requirements before proceeding to the next stage of production or shipment.Qualifications1-3 years of experience in quality inspection, quality control, or a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards.Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and nonconformances.GD & T knowledge a plusAS9100Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, height indicators, pin gage, ball mic etc.MS Word and Excel computer skills and familiarity with quality documentation systems. xhyhwjd Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
