Quality Process Owner – 1st Shift

Chandler, AZ $85,000 – $115,000 annually

Overview

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quality Process Owner to oversee and optimize quality and production processes within our manufacturing operations. This role supervises activities across NDT, Part Mark, Final Product Certification, and Shipping, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and team performance across assigned departments
• Drive and implement Lean Manufacturing and 6S initiatives
• Maintain schedules, attendance, training, and performance records
• Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Partner with Engineering to improve flow time and cycle time
• Ensure product quality through training and adherence to process standards
• Review, modify, and improve department procedures and technical documentation
• Manage inventory and ensure material availability for production
• Troubleshoot ERP/system and paperwork issues
• Address non-conformances and corrective actions proactively
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, layouts, and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a supervisor, lead operator, trainer, or similar role in a manufacturing environment (A 4-year degree may be considered in place of experience)
• Strong understanding of process control and quality standards
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus

Preferred:

• Investment casting experience
• Knowledge of NDT processes
