Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary The Quality Control Inspector, under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, performs all Quality tasks necessary to ensure product quality in the areas of in-process inspection, incoming inspection and final inspection. This includes the management of non-conforming material. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the documentation, filing and tracking of incoming inspection reports, as well as non-conforming material reports for incoming, in‑process and final inspections. Act as a technical liaison between Quality Engineering and Operations/Engineering for non-conforming material reports/complaints to ensure issues are resolved and prevented. Support activities with Operations, Purchasing and Quality regarding non-conforming material returns and closure of reports. Perform final inspection and operational testing of units and review Device History Records prior to shipment. Support calibration activities including record maintenance and scheduling of calibration. Support MRB meetings for NCMR reviews, as required. Aid in the maintenance of all inspection and production records in line with procedures. Promote a culture of Quality focused compliance with customer needs and regulatory requirements. Experience Requirements H/S diploma, or equivalent. 2‑4 years related experience. Ability to read/write in English. Attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and willingness to learn new software. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds as required. Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and written communication. Working Hours 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
