Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Will work 3x12-hour shifts, nights (7 PM - 7 AM), with weekends and holidays. There is no on-call requirement.

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. As an ER RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. You will work collaboratively with the medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage critical care as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Provide education and information to patients and their families regarding treatment and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience is required.
• Current SC RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS are required.
• Epic charting experience is highly preferred.
