Therapists may also participate in innovative collaborative programs:

• OrthoSync which coordinates surgical and rehabilitative care for joint replacement patients OrthoHealth which combines rehabilitation health coaching and nutritional counseling to support joint health and weight management.

Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Facility Manager the Physical Therapist provides high-quality outpatient rehabilitation services in collaboration with IBJIs orthopedic physicians and clinical team.

• Interprets physician orders - Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
• Provide exceptional evidence-based patient care
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans and goals as appropriate
• Establish appropriate discharge plans and follow-up recommendations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including evaluations daily notes progress notes discharges and home exercise programs
• Maintain compliance with billing requirements and ethical billing practices
• Collaborate and develop positive relationships with the physicians team at IBJI
• Supervise and provide direction to Rehabilitation Technicians and other support staff as appropriate
• Maintain an active Illinois Physical Therapy license and complete required CEUs
• Participate in professional development opportunities including mentoring clinical education special interest groups and community outreach
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Full-Time/Part-Time availability
• Monday - Friday (Open to creative scheduling)

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
• Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Demonstrates good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting pulling pushing
• Ability to lift 25 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand sit and move throughout the workday
• Ability to work with electronic medical records and other computer systems for extended periods

With more than 150 physicians in every orthopedic specialty IBJI offers care for adults and children from some of the most accomplished and respected orthopedists in the country. Serving northern Illinois and northwest Indiana with over 100 locations IBJI makes it easy to access care. Our headquarters is in Park Ridge Illinois a northwest suburb of Chicago. Our clinical services include advanced MRI imaging pain management non-surgical and surgical treatment plans rheumatology physical therapy occupational therapy wellness and sports training. Ortho Access walk-in clinics provide same day care for orthopedic injuries. Beginning in 2021 IBJI expanded its clinical model to include eight outpatient ambulatory surgery centers that serve as an alternative to the traditional hospital model enabling physicians therapists and staff to work closely together to achieve better patient outcomes and convenience. Comprehensive care offered all in one place enables physicians therapists and staff to work closely together so that patients and families achieve better outcomes. Collaborative care is also more many cases IBJI services are substantially less expensive than those provided by large healthcare systems and emergency rooms.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location skills and relevant experience.
