Desktop Support Specialist

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc.( is seeking a part-time Desktop Support Intern to join our team on site at our Corporate Office in San Diego, CA. Summary The Desktop Support Intern provides first-level technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues by diagnosing problems and guiding users through step-by-step solutions. The Help Desk Intern will assist with day-to-day tickets and support of on-site and remote users in the Corporate location. Responsibilities include handling break/fix tickets, desktop and desk-side support tickets, and other duties as assigned. The position is budgeted for a minimum of 24 working hours in the office each week, and a maximum of 30 hours. Duties And Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Participate in problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations. Learn and support IT related tasks for New Hire Orientation. Perform minor desktop and laptop hardware repairs for equipment not covered under vendor maintenance agreements. Support and troubleshoot conference room technologies to ensure reliable functionality. Assist with project directions and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the customer organizations. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in an IT-related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite. Foundational knowledge in networking. Foundational knowledge in PC components. PC troubleshooting skills. Printer troubleshooting skills. Pay Range The pay range for this role is $20 - $22 hourly. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
