The Core Processing team builds real‑time, intelligent processing critical to managing accounts and transactions for Capital One’s Card line of business. We are seeking a Senior Manager with a persistent desire to learn both the business and technology, sound problem‑solving skills, and the ability to mentor and coach team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate quick learning agility, in depth discovery, formulate data‑backed and principled recommendations, and consistently identify high‑leverage impact to drive results. Key Responsibilities Build an outcome‑based strategy and drive delivery of the roadmap focused on core functionality of the ledger. Identify and analyze new use cases and opportunities for managing Credit Card Account Lifecycle to empower digital customer experience and non‑digital services. Partner with platform teams on innovation pilots, testing strategies, new feature rollout and back‑book data migration. Form strong partnerships with Architecture and Software engineers to solve technical problems. Basic Qualifications At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field). A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration. Preferred Qualifications Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products. This salary information is for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and reflects the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of the posting. Chicago, IL: $182,500 – $208,300 for Senior Manager, Product Management. McLean, VA: $200,700 – $229,100 for Senior Manager, Product Management. New York, NY: $219,000 – $249,900 for Senior Manager, Product Management. This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
