Job Description

Location: University of Kansas Hospital - Bell Unit

Class/Area: IR Tech/Interventional Radiology

Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of IR experience, scrub experience required Preferred Experience: 3+ years in IR, large hospital background, peripheral and neurovascular procedures Licensure/Certification: ARRT Radiography & Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (must be in hand for submission) Floating Requirements: May float to Cambridge IR Weekend Requirements: None On-Call Requirements: As needed Holiday Requirements: Not required; holiday pay adjustments apply if scheduled workday falls on a holiday Orientation: Orientation every Monday & Tuesday; additional nursing orientation Wed-Fri (bi-weekly) Credentials Due: 1 week prior to start (Monday) Equipment Used: Siemens Systems (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee; single-plane, no biplane) Unit Details: Siloed setup, fast-paced with high patient volume (60-65 cases/day), handles all lines for hospital including outpatient, operates 7 rooms, manages neck-down cases with light neuro overflow Client Notes: Nicotine-free facility; bi-weekly pay; 8-hour no-bill orientation; up to 2 cancellations/month with a minimum 2 hours' notice Hourly Pay Rate: $0.00
