Key Responsibilities\n As a Clinical Social Worker at Divine Mercy Behavioral Health Center, you will: \n \n Act as a client advocate to assist students and families in navigating community resources, social services, and support networks aimed at enhancing their overall quality of life. \n Provide immediate crisis intervention services to ensure client safety and stability during critical situations, employing de-escalation techniques and appropriate clinical judgment. \n Maintain detailed and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, compliant with all legal and ethical standards. \n Collaborate with a broad range of professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and school personnel to ensure integrated care that meets each student's unique needs. \n Educate clients on effective coping strategies, communication techniques, and self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their therapeutic journey. \n Engage in community outreach efforts and build partnerships with local organizations to improve resource availability and enhance referral networks. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be the student population, including children and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. Collaborating closely with families and educational staff, you will develop tailored interventions to help students succeed emotionally and academically. Qualifications\n Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications: \n \n Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kansas. \n A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field. \n A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse populations. \n Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for effective teamwork and client engagement. \n A solid ethical foundation and dedication to practicing within confidentiality guidelines. \n The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. \n Preferred Experience\n While not required, previous experience working in a school-based or outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with systems such as electronic health records and telehealth platforms will also be beneficial in facilitating efficient service delivery. Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, with additional monthly productivity bonuses.
