Amazon Seller Central Manager (Jersey City)

We're a consumer products company that owns and manages a portfolio of nationally recognized brands, and we're aiming to reach $500 million in revenue this year. Our products cover e-mobility, consumer electronics, outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden, cleaning and more, with global operations.

We're looking for an experienced Amazon marketplace operator to own the day-to-day health and performance of our Seller Central (3P) accounts across our brands. You know Seller Central inside and out! Catalog management, Brand Registry, account health and policy compliance. You fix listing and account problems quickly, and you work to prevent them before they come up.

You'll keep our listings accurate, compliant and buyable. That means protecting our brands on Amazon, keeping our accounts healthy, and working with our advertising, supply chain and creative teams so every listing can convert.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own daily operations of the company's Amazon Seller Central accounts across all brands and marketplaces.

• Manage the catalog end to end: new ASIN creation, parent/child variations, flat-file and bulk uploads, attribute and browse node accuracy, and listing merges and splits.

• Find and fix suppressed, stranded, inactive and incomplete listings, along with listing hijacks and detail page errors.

• Monitor and protect Account Health, including policy violations, IP complaints, safety and Compliance documentation, Order Defect Rate, late shipment and cancellation metrics.

• Write and submit Plans of Action, appeals and reinstatements. Escalate through Seller Support and account management contacts when needed.

• Manage Brand Registry for all brands: brand ownership, Project Zero / Transparency where applicable, and reports of counterfeit, unauthorized and infringing sellers.

• Monitor the Buy Box, pricing compliance (MAP) and unauthorized resellers. Work with the legal and sales teams on enforcement.

• Keep product compliance documentation current, including safety certifications, battery/hazmat (dangerous goods) classification, SDS and test reports.

• Manage Seller Central cases, from submission and follow-up through resolution, and keep a log of recurring issues and how they were fixed.

• Work with advertising, inventory/FBA, creative and retail teams (including any Amazon 1P/Vendor Central program) on catalog consistency, launches and promotions.

• Track and report weekly on account KPIs: sales, Buy Box %, conversion, listing quality, account health and case aging.

• Stay current on Amazon policy changes, new Seller Central tools and marketplace trends, and update internal processes to match.

• Lead and develop 1–2 specialists and/or manage outside agency partners, if applicable.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience, including at least 2 years owning a multi-brand or high-volume catalog (1,000+ ASINs preferred).

• Deep knowledge of Amazon catalog systems: flat files, variations, category styles, browse nodes and listing troubleshooting.

• A record of fixing account health problems, including successful Plans of Action, appeals and reinstatements.

• Experience with Brand Registry, Transparency/Project Zero and brand protection enforcement.

• Experience with dangerous goods, battery-powered or regulated product categories is a strong plus.

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Experience with Amazon reports and Seller Central business analytics.

• Familiarity with third-party Amazon tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, SmartScout or similar) is a plus.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong written communication for cases and appeals.
