Senior Controls Technician


An employee-owned, nationally recognized mechanical construction and facilities services firm is seeking experienced Senior Controls Technicians to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects.


This organization provides full lifecycle mechanical solutions including HVAC, plumbing, controls/building automation, engineering services, and prefabrication support. Projects include healthcare, education, mission-critical facilities, commercial high-rise, and industrial installations.


Position Overview

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing, installing, programming, and commissioning building automation control systems. Strong proficiency in control system programming one or more of the following brands: Delta Controls, Distech, and/or Tridium.
• In-depth knowledge of industry-standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc..) and their implementation in controls systems. Proficiency troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in control systems.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and experience in guiding junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
