Neuro Med-Surg Nurse – AdultSchedule: Shift: Days Full-time schedule options: 36 or 48 hours/week (OT billed after 48) Weekend expectation: 12–16 shifts per contract (flexible)Assignment Details: Contract length: 13–26 weeks accepted Patient ratio: 1:5–6Requirements: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience Previous charge experience: preferred Neuro experience: preferred (neuro surgical procedures and neuro diagnoses) Required: BCLS (BLS) Preferred: NIHSS Other commonly listed: ACLS, CPI (as applicable) Key clinical skills: Neuro care (preferred), telemetry experience IV starts / peripheral line care Non-invasive airway management, nasal cannula Isolation precautions / PPE Stroke/CVA familiarityCompliance / Notes: Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays) No RTO during the first week All RTO must be pre-approved Must work 2 of 3 major holidays COVID-19 vaccine: Not required Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) Pre-start modules required (conducted online) Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty Lab/testing requirement: Must complete within 48 hours after signing Disaster response: Contract staff will work during mass casualty/disaster eventsClient Details: City Wilmington State NC
