Medical/Surgical with TelemetryShift: 12-hr days Hours options: 36 or 48 hours acceptedContract Length: 13–20 weeksMinimum 2 years clinical RN experienceStrong telemetry and Med/Surg skillsLicensure: NC or compact license pending accepted for submittalCertifications: BCLSProvide care for adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg telemetry setting.Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmia recognition.Administer IV therapy, including peripheral line care and blood product administration.Manage respiratory treatments such as CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen delivery.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient assessments and care plans.Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and infection control protocols.Hospital orientation in the first week, with daily attendance required.Unit orientation: 24 hours.Scrub colors: Navy or White.Drug testing and EKG testing required prior to start date.Confirmed RTO policies include no time-off requests during the first week and potential implications for additional request submissions.Travel pairs allowed, provided they work on different units.
