Who You Are

You are an Jr. System Engineer who will collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the design, development, and research of interfaces, ensuring that all subsystems are properly integrated into a fully viable, completed system. You will provide ongoing functional analysis to validate mission requirements and constraints while assessing and monitoring system performance and providing feedback to a subsystem team of teams. You will act as an advisor to the customer, providing them with the results they need to inform mission critical decisions.

What You’ll Do

As a JR System Engineer, you will:

• Support end-user needs by identifying, investigating and resolving system issues related to space systems
• Collaborate with analysts, project leads, and customers to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability
• Assist in developing system requirements and specifications aligned with High-Level Mission objectives
• Participate in trade studies to identify improvements in system performance, architecture, and software/hardware solutions
• Contribute to engineering tradeoff analyses and assist in formulating Courses of Action (COAs) that consider operational constraints
• Gather information to create technical documents that support project deliverables
• Stay updated on agency, national, and international standards related to space systems development to ensure compliance and integration
• Provide support throughout the systems engineering life cycle, managing risks and developing mitigation plans to guarantee mission success
• Track project activities for systems engineering, software/hardware development, and deployment, ensuring effective command and control integration
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to optimize ground processing and mission management practices

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI Polygraph
• Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter who can partner with multiple teammates
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Understanding of planning and integrating secure solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directives
• Familiarity with development of requirements for system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security for mid-to-large-scale systems

Basic Compensation:

$92,100.00-$112,600.00

This range is for the King of Prussia, PA area only.

$92,100.00-$112,600.00

This range is for the Chantilly, VA area only.

$80,100.00-$97,800.00

This range is for the Beavercreek, OH area only.

$80,100.00-$97,800.00

This range is for the San Antonio, TX area only.

$76,100.00-$93,000.00

This range is for the Clearfield, UT area only.
