The world can’t wait.You Have: 5+ years of experience with network security and the design of IT systems or networks for large commercial enterprises or government agencies3+ years of experience with firewall and enterprise security design, including device hardening, intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, firewalls, internet protocol security, and vulnerability assessmentExperience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco, or Juniper firewallsExperience with monitoring tools and log collectors to perform analysis of trafficExperience with boundary protectionKnowledge of packet analysis tools, such as WiresharkAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GED DoD 8140 baseline Level II Certification such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or DoD Cyber Workforce Framework CertificationNice If You Have:Experience designing and implementing cloud-native and over-the-top networking in AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with SD-WANExperience with Ansible or PythonKnowledge of DoD IT and cloud security policies, including STIGs and DoD Cloud SRG, and how to apply them to the design and implementation of cloud solutionsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, prior publications, and speaking engagements in industry or vendor forumsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
