Position: Accounts Payable Clerk

Position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager

Job Location: Chicago, IL 

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 to $24.50 an hour 

The Accounts Payable Clerk will participate in the the procure to pay process and assist in controlling expenditures through accurate and timely execution of the responsibilities listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Posting invoices and credits for assigned vendors
• Reconciling vendor statements
• Communicating with various departments in a professional manner to resolve discrepancies
• Communicating with vendors via phone and email to resolve outstanding issues
• Specific projects and other ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Ability to properly apply basic accounting principles when analyzing problems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks in a high volume environment
• Attention to detail
• NetSuite knowledge preferred, but not required.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc)
