We invite you to become part of our family and contribute to our ongoing success.Summary of Essential DutiesThe Maintenance Fleet Manager - Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200) analyzes deficiencies, develops cost effective and applicable corrective action plans to correct the deficiencies, and performs follow-up evaluations to verify that those corrections have taken place and have been effective.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform root cause analysis to determine the failure modes.Perform a risk assessment to identify if the failure mode exhibits a hazard.Review, prioritize, implement, and tracks prevention strategies (process improvements).Develop cost effective correction action plans to address operational consequences and reduce the failure rates of the systems that are causing delays/cancellations giving high priority to safety and economic consequences that affect reliability.Consistently strive to:Reduce mechanical failuresReduce delays and aircraft downtimeReduce human errorsReduce accidents and incidentsReduce repeat discrepanciesIncrease job performanceEnhance troubleshooting techniquesEnhanced reliabilityReduce liabilityContinued safetyPerform other duties as assigned by leadership.Must be at least 23 years of age.FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation in English.Minimum of 2 years’ aircraft maintenance experience (commercial, regional, or equivalent military experience accepted).Strong organizational and troubleshooting skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions.Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.High school diploma or GED certification preferred.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with similar software applications is also required.Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.Skilled in coordinating multiple priorities, managing deadlines, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle interruptions and changing priorities with flexibility and a strong attention to detail.Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivered with professionalism and tact.Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and be willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.Ability to pass a 10-year work history background check, as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks, as required by the TSA.Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts as operational needs dictate.Must adhere to all safety regulations and work in a professional manner, complying with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.Disclaimer: The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature and level of work required for the referenced position; they are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of individuals in the position.
