The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients with serious mental illness in an inpatient state hospital environment. Daily responsibilities include managing treatment for a census of 297 patients, encompassing SMI presentations, forensic psychiatry cases, court-ordered individuals, dual diagnosis, and NGRI patients. The clinician will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver ongoing medication management within a long-term care setting. This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week during day shift hours, with no call obligations.
