Sr. Consultant, Firm Marketing

Overview If you’re passionate about becoming a Nationwide associate and want to drive sales and profitable growth by creating a favorable selling environment, we are seeking a Sr. Consultant, Firm Marketing. This role develops and executes account-based marketing strategies and firm-level plans to nurture relationships and drive sales opportunities for P&C’s top firms and priority national partners. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long‑term sustainable growth. Synthesize data to support identification and innovation of business‑building solutions. Lead sophisticated projects and processes within the area of responsibility to deliver results with multiple target completion dates and shifting priorities. Implement digital and traditional marketing tactics and media, including creative development, planning, and execution. Lead creative development, provide specific feedback on look and feel, and develop strong creative briefs. Monitor emerging innovative trends in content, design and marketing tactics. Review and analyze customer insights, analytics and tools to understand and forecast market, competitor and customer needs and behavior. Define appropriate target audiences, evaluate sufficiency, and drive results with data‑based decisions. Ensure programs remain on strategy and on schedule. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Reporting Relationships Reports directly to the Director, Partnership Solutions Marketing within P&C Marketing Integration. Works within the National Partners Team and Business Unit Marketers. Education & Experience Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field; graduate degree highly desirable. Typical 10+ years of related professional experience in marketing, field sales management, insurance or related field. Master’s degree may be substituted for a portion of experience requirements. Prior marketing development and project leadership exposure preferred. Technical & Certifications Technical insurance designations such as CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI considered a plus. Additional licensing may be required: associates must acquire required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the designated time period. Knowledge, Abilities & Skills In‑depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, insurance and/or financial services products including regulatory environment, distribution systems, and customers. Knowledge of product distribution methods. Ability to develop and review research studies, communicate findings, market recommendations based on findings, develop and negotiate contracts/service agreements, and lead multiple projects. Ability to function independently or in a team environment. Demonstrates core marketing proficiencies: strategy development, utilization of insights and analytics, building brand equity and effective marketing communications. Command of and ability to understand and deliver customer focus, operating capabilities and strategic capabilities. Leadership skills and competencies may take precedence. Job Conditions Overtime Eligibility: Exempt (Not eligible). Working Conditions: Normal office environment; ability to work extended and/or non‑standard hours based on project load. Travel as required. Salary & Benefits Salary Range: $122,000 – $214,000 annually.
