Responsibilities: Handle all phases of employment litigation in state and federal courts. Defend employers in single-plaintiff, wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters. Manage discovery, draft and argue dispositive motions, and take and defend depositions. Represent clients in mediations and before administrative agencies. Advise employers on workplace policies, compliance issues, and risk management strategies. Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, separation agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements. Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across practice groups. Qualifications: 5+ years of labor and employment experience. Significant employment litigation experience, including single-plaintiff and class action matters; PAGA experience strongly preferred. Employment counseling experience is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
