Job Overview
Our organization is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to become a part of our team at a prominent healthcare facility specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Role DescriptionThe Ultrasound Technologist will conduct various Ob/Gyn sonograms, biophysical profiles, non-stress tests, and amniotic fluid index assessments under general supervision. Additionally, this role involves assisting with amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling procedures.

Key ResponsibilitiesConducts sonographic assessments of fetal morphology, age, growth, and color Doppler studies. Utilizes various scanning modalities based on the patient's condition and the requested examination.
Reviews images for quality assurance. Captures necessary images using multi-format cameras and may access, manipulate, store, and print digital images. Collaborates with physicians to review processed images.
Inputs data to create sonographic reports. Works closely with physicians, nursing staff, and schedulers to ensure timely patient care.
May assist in the education and training of patients, staff, physicians, students, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsible for cleaning and sterilizing equipment and procedure tables before and after each use. May also assist in managing inventory and purchasing supplies for the designated area.
High School Diploma or GED, or a graduate from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound.
1-2 years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or successful completion of certification within 180 days.
