Must-Have: 1 year of experience preferred

Description: Candidates must possess general certification requirements including BLS and other specialty certifications. The department consists of one scanner/room. Staff may float or cover other areas if desired and credentials allow. Common imaging studies performed include routine MRI imaging with an average of 15 scans/studies per day. The facility uses Allscripts for charting. Equipment utilized in the department includes Siemens Sola. The radiology supervisor or lead technologist is currently Mark Moraska. There is a requirement for staff to start IVs. Most radiologists are in-house most of the time. Staff will work together on scheduling arrangements, including options for 10s or 12s or 5 8s. Scrubs are provided onsite, and personal scrubs may be worn without color limitations. MRI safety training is a part of the department-specific orientation. There are no weekend or holiday requirements for this position. There are no call or standby requirements for this role.
