Direct Sales Representative - Implantable Cardiac Monitoring - Manhattan, NY

Abbott seeks a direct sales representative to promote insertable cardiac monitoring devices to physicians, hospitals, and distributors in the Manhattan territory. The role involves client relationship building, account development, and product education within the cardiac rhythm management division.

Responsibilities

• Contact, visit, and educate physicians and institutions on insertable cardiac monitor devices
• Develop and execute business plans to identify and grow new customer accounts
• Provide training and technical support to medical professionals on product use
• Manage territory inventory and collect competitive intelligence on products and pricing
• Prepare sales analyses, reports, and administrative documentation including expense reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent
• 2–5 years medical device sales experience in hospitals or ASCs, or 4+ years B2B sales
• Demonstrated ability to influence customer decision-making in healthcare settings
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of personal computer programs and medical device industry operations
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with physicians and hospital administrators
• Preferred: general understanding of cardiac rhythm management technology

Compensation: $43,900–$109,200 base
