Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities Facilitate retail sales, including customer assistance and follow‑up. Encourage and reinforce customer decisions to increase average dollar sale and units sold per transaction. Stock and maintain the appearance of sales floor and merchandise displays. Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions. Follow established regulations, guidelines and procedures related to the sale of alcohol and or tobacco. Requirements Must be at least 18 years or older Demonstrated money‑handling and math skills. Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register. Must obtain and maintain a current State Responsible Vendor Permit Must obtain and maintain a current Parish Alcohol Beverage Control License These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 1-year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
