We are always seeking to add to our School Transportation team: Substitute Bus Driver (CDL Driver's License required, Training is available). Long-term and per diem (by the day) assignments available. Flexible days 4-5 hours per day.

Performance Responsibilities:

• To be sure all students are secure in their seatbelts/wheelchairs.
• Aides help the Bus Driver maintain a clean bus for everyone.
• Maintaining good student conduct on the bus.
• Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.
• Other job-related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.

Full Job Description:

Certification/License: All positions - Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education.

Bus Driver- CDL with School Bus Endorsement

Education: GED or Highschool diploma

Experience: No experience is required but working with young and special needs students is helpful.
