Southend Pharmacy is a modern 503A compounding pharmacy built on clinical precision, operational clarity, and a human-first approach. Licensed in more than 35 states and focused on longevity-aligned therapeutics, we support providers and their patients through customized compounded medications and transparent pharmacy practices.
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Onboarding Specialist is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and overseeing a structured and comprehensive onboarding experience for all new employees joining Southend Pharmacy. Serving as the primary point of contact throughout the initial onboarding period, this role ensures that new hires receive the appropriate departmental orientation, operational workflow training, system access, and clear performance expectations necessary for a successful transition into their respective roles.
The Pharmacy Onboarding Specialist collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams across all departments and shifts, including Pharmacy Verification, Data Entry, Fulfillment, Shipping, Procurement, Customer Service, Clinical, and other operational areas as assigned. This position plays a critical role in establishing and maintaining standardized onboarding processes while tailoring training programs to meet department-specific responsibilities, operational workflows, and compliance requirements. The overall objective is to promote employee readiness, training consistency, operational efficiency, and a seamless transition to independent job performance.
This is a full-time, onsite position based at Southend Pharmacy, located at 4802 North Sam Houston Parkway West, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77086. Candidates must be able to work onsite at this location during their assigned work schedule.

New Hire Onboarding
● Coordinate the onboarding process for all new Southend Pharmacy employees from their first day through department placement.
● Provide new employees with an overview of Southend Pharmacy's operations, culture, expectations, policies, and standards.
