Warehouse Receiving Clerk - Contract to Hire

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk position is located in the Duluth, GA area and offers a contract-to-hire opportunity. This company is known for its commitment to maintaining a fast-paced and efficient shipping and receiving environment, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Shift of the Warehouse Receiving Clerk:
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; M-F

Pay Rate of the Warehouse Receiving Clerk:
$18 - $22 hr

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Receiving Clerk:

Supervise loading and unloading of trucks and manage inventory.
Log individual items into the database, including serial and model numbers.
Create shipping documentation such as bills of lading and shipping labels.
Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely shipments.
Prepare and follow up on freight claims and maintain shipment files.

Qualifications of the Warehouse Receiving Clerk:

Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience.
Proficient in data entry and familiar with SAP.
Experience in freight forwarding and supervisory roles.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Computer literate with knowledge of shipping software.
