Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Providing therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
\n
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the needs of various client demographics.
\n
• Documenting progress notes and treatment updates in electronic health record (EHR) software in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Maintaining regular communication with other professionals involved in clients' care, ensuring coordinated support.
\n
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role emphasizes working with a varied client base, including children, adolescents, and adults, as well as families facing life transitions, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. Our practice is uniquely positioned to serve culturally diverse populations, so strong bilingual skills in Spanish and English are essential for effective communication and support.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid, active, and unrestricted LMFT license in Pennsylvania.
\n
• Strong blended language capabilities, enabling the delivery of bilingual psychotherapy services in both Spanish and English.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, particularly working with a range of clients in children’s and family services.
\n
• Cultural competence with the ability to respect and address individual family customs and needs.
\n
• Proficiency in EHR software and capacity to adapt to various software tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and insurance, as some in-person visits may be required.
\n
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including at least two evenings a week and one weekend day.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, and a professional demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications listed, we highly value candidates who have specialized training in areas such as trauma therapy, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health. Experience with group therapy modalities and previous participation in HIPAA training is also favorable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise, along with a sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include flexible remote work options, ongoing professional development, and opportunities for advancement within the organization.
