Job Description

Under minimal supervision, the Production Assembler will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met. This role involves working closely with peers, providing guidance when necessary, and inspecting products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering standards, and customer requirements. The assembler will be required to read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select and position materials and accessory components, assemble sub-assemblies, install accessory components, and wire basic electrical connections. Modifications and assembly of specialty/custom component parts are also expected.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts in line with established procedures and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with peers and provide guidance when needed.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and engineering standards.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials.
• Wire basic electrical connections according to applicable diagrams.
• Modify and assemble specialty/custom component parts.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products using lifting equipment when available.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a production or assembly line environment.
• Familiarity with using blueprints for assembly tasks.
• Capability to stand for 9+ hours.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing facility with peak season running from April to September, requiring first shift from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. During the off-peak season, the first shift operates from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Overtime is a regular expectation, particularly during peak season, and Saturday work is frequently required to support production demands

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Goodyear,AZ.
