Associate Attorney

Sanvenero & Cittadino Law is a growing multi-state litigation and transactional law firm representing businesses, entrepreneurs, property owners, and individuals in high-stakes legal matters. Our practice includes complex commercial litigation, business disputes, real estate litigation, contract matters, partnership disputes, and related civil litigation across New Jersey, New York, and Florida. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This position offers substantial courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, strategic case management responsibilities, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters from inception through trial. Position: Associate Attorney – Complex Litigation Location New Jersey preferred, with matters handled in New Jersey, New York, and Florida. Practice Areas Breach of contract litigation Business and shareholder disputes Partnership and LLC dissolutions Real estate and construction disputes Fraud and fiduciary duty claims Injunctions and emergent applications Collections and enforcement actions Pre-litigation dispute resolution and settlement negotiations Responsibilities Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery demands, and legal memoranda Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and motion practice Take and defend depositions Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations Assist with trial preparation and trial work Maintain organized case management and meet litigation deadlines Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey required New York and/or Florida admission preferred 3–8 years of litigation experience preferred Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Experience handling complex commercial litigation matters preferred Ability to independently manage files and work in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and client communication skills Experience with e-filing systems in NJ, NY, and/or FL preferred Benefits and Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Opportunity for professional growth and advancement Collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment Health benefits and paid time off available based on experience and position structure Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in litigation, is comfortable handling sophisticated business disputes, and can confidently manage cases with increasing independence.
