Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)This role will be in the Retrieval Operations - Clinical and Quality Solutions department and will be responsible for supporting the Retrieval Ops Lead as directed and providing subject matter expertise (SME) as it relates to the retrieval of medical records and client relationship management.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Operational Team SupportCoordinate and develop adhoc reporting for retrieval as neededSeek opportunities to improve operating efficiencies / effectivenessAssist in development of user guides, standard operating procedures, job aids and presentations for training Assist with issue escalation as needed Client Management SupportMaintain tracking of key retrieval facts and dates by clientManage client retrieval issues for assigned clients (in partnership with Quality Program Managers (QPMs) and vendor)Provide system and process trainingProvide consultative support and strategy to assist clients in achieving business goalsAttend weekly meetings with clients for assigned clients to present retrieval performance and metricsPartnering with QPMs to focus on client quality and production concerns (will the vendor hit the targets; is client engaged)Review production reports to identify risk to meeting business objectives and compliance with client service level agreementsPost HEDIS reporting and metrics Retrieval Vendor Management Support Lead issue resolution with vendor on system or reporting issues for RetrievalPartner with vendor in identifying risks to meeting business objectives and developing remediation as appropriateLead in identifying, developing & communicating retrieval application enhancements and system performanceCoordinate file specification requirements between Optum and vendorImprove existing retrieval application reports to better align with changing operations and business needs Develop and monitor vendor system retrieval enhancement requirements from QPMs and coordinates with Clinical Quality Oversight (CQO) team and vendorsDevelop test cases used vendor application testingOversee file management transfer from Optum, client and vendor re: Retrieval and resolve issues as neededAdditional DutiesUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) - participate in assisting UAT team in Optum product testing, including development and testing of test case scenariosShare Point Site Access back up ManagerUtilize skills in problem solving, meeting deadlines, working independently, motivating/influencing/inspiring others, and working in a matrix environment to drive efficiencies through influenceYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:2+ years of experience in Project Management2+ years of experience in HEDIS / Stars chart retrieval2+ years of experience working for a health plan and/or a provider’s officeProficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPointPreferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of general medical record contents Proficiency using MS Access Careers with Optum.
