Position Overview

C&B Sign Services is seeking a highly organized, proactive Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing sign installation and service company. This role is critical to keeping our office running smoothly and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and takes ownership of their work.

You will work closely with the Office Manager and leadership team, acting as a key support partner across administrative operations, customer communication, HR support, and financial coordination.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Office Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks

* Serve as a point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal team members (phone and email)

* Assist with HR functions including onboarding paperwork, employee files, and scheduling

* Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes (invoice entry, tracking, follow-up)

* Coordinate scheduling, calendars, and internal communications

* Maintain accurate records, documents, and digital filing systems

* Assist with reporting, data entry, and process improvements

* Step in where needed to keep office operations running efficiently

Qualifications & Skills

* 3+ years of experience in an administrative, office support, or assistant role

* Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

* Comfortable working in a construction, trades, or service-based environment

* Confident communicator with a professional and customer-focused demeanor

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, email, and PDF tools

* Ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and deadlines

* Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without constant supervision

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
