Travel Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Hartford, Connecticut

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license (Compact or specific to the state)
• Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience
• Previous experience caring for inpatients in hold/transition status
• Comfortable taking Emergency Department patients (preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based patient care for patients awaiting placement
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure seamless patient flow and quality outcomes
• Accurately document interventions, assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Respond promptly to acute changes in patient condition
