Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role offers an opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to contribute to the pharmacy operations within a respected medical center. The position involves working closely with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate and efficient preparation and distribution of medications, supporting patient care across various departments.

Location:
Port Matilda, PA – Mount Nittany Medical Center Pharmacy

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Shift options: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 10:15 AM – 8:45 PM
• Weekend work is required
• No holiday or on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists
• Maintain inventory and proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Assist with medication order entry and fulfillment using hospital systems
• Support the pharmacy team in ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee from the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
• Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
