Associate Product Manager, Capital Equipment

The capital equipment product management team is responsible for managing the product lifecycle and the P&L for a portfolio of entertainment products.

The Associate Product Manager, Capital Equipment, plays a key role on this team and is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a business, marketing or engineer/technical background that is interested in moving their career in the direction of product management and marketing.

This is a tactical position and the ideal candidate should have experience related to product management in any or all of the following areas: marketing / sales support / pricing / promotions / customer support. The experience should be related to actual products. FINANCIAL AND IT INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS NOT A FIT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pricing & Reporting

• Manage global pricing updates for all capital equipment products. Ensure pricing updates are completed on time and with accuracy

• Manage global product pricing requests for non-published items. Establish pricing and put it in the ERP system, as needed

• Ensure new products are set up with the right financial SRP tracking codes

• Develop reports (pulling from the ERP and CRM systems) as needed to inform and support product management and marketing decisions

Sales Support and Communication

• Own, maintain and improve the Capital Equipment Sales Reference Portal, ensuring WW sales teams are accessing the most current sales support materials for all products

• Create and manage capital equipment product communications to WW sales channels

• Develop and maintain technical sales support materials such as product cards, ROI calculators, etc.

• Establish and maintain product sales configuration surveys for capital equipment products. These guide WW quotation/order management teams to include the correct product peripherals

• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure correct product configurations are established in our sales quotation configurator for new products and enhancements

• Own, maintain and improve the sample program for capital equipment products

Product Management Operations

• Lead cross departmental coordination activities to ensure capital equipment product changes, enhancements and new introductions are implemented properly across the organization

• Proactively monitor warranty and product quality, engage and lead stakeholders as needed to ensure quality issues that may arise get addressed and our customers are taken care of

• Ensure communication and training related to new products and/or features is carried out to stakeholders such as product order management, technical support, and sales teams worldwide

Customer Feedback

• Support the product management team with collecting market feedback for both existing product and potential new products

• Assist with ongoing creation of product success stories; identify and interview customers

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Technical aptitude, detail-oriented, analytical

• Demonstrated knowledge to perform advanced data analysis functions with Microsoft Excel (i.e. creating and using pivot tables, macros, etc.
