Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

Position Summary
Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented  Quality Inspector / Repair Technician for a contract position in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This role is responsible for the 100% inspection of assembled products, identifying and repairing quality defects, and ensuring all products meet established quality and safety standards.
The  Quality Inspector / Repair Technician to inspect assembled doors and products, identify defects, complete repairs, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% visual inspections, measurements, and weight checks.
• Identify, document, and repair product defects.
• Inspect doors according to work instructions and customer specifications.
• Use tape measures, calipers, sanders, glue guns, chisels, putty knives, clamps, and related tools.
• Complete production tickets, reject sheets, and other required paperwork.
• Restack acceptable products and sort unrepairable materials.
• Follow Lean Manufacturing practices, including 5S+1.
• Communicate with team members, leadership, Maintenance, and Quality personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all PPE and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read production tickets and identify defects.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic measurements.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and stoop throughout the shift; work in a warehouse and non-climate-controlled wood manufacturing environment; and push, pull, lift, and occasionally carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
