Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication skills as a contracted School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a dynamic district near Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time itinerant position spans two school sites, providing you the opportunity to engage with diverse student populations across age groups. Anticipated dates are August 27, 2026, through June 9, 2027, for a total of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day). As part of a collaborative educational team, your expertise will help students thrive academically and socially.

Your bilingual Spanish & English skills are highly valued, helping to ensure that all students receive quality, culturally responsive services. Caseloads average 45 students per provider, well within state regulations, and FTE, age range, and workloads may shift depending on assignments. This on-site only role offers professional variety, as you support students in person and adapt strategies to meet individual needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
• Illinois SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish & English
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

Key Duties:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop individualized intervention plans and deliver therapy
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Prepare progress reports, maintain documentation, and monitor outcomes
• Travel and provide services between two school locations as needed
