Clinical Laboratory Technologist - RIA

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee for the RIA department in Burlington, NC. The role involves performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, and maintaining quality control standards. Full training is provided for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assess specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot RIA instrumentation for proper functionality
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
• Perform preventative maintenance and document quality control procedures
• Report accurate test results and maintain safe work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• 3+ months clinical laboratory testing experience preferred
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
